As we step into 2026, Curtis Concepts enters the year with clarity, momentum, and deep appreciation for the work that has brought us here.
Curtis Concepts officially launched in June 2025. In just seven months, we have had the opportunity to partner with organizations across economic development, philanthropy, and local government to support complex initiatives that require alignment, trust, and long-term thinking. That early momentum has reinforced something we have long believed. The most meaningful progress happens when strategy, relationships, and capacity are built together.
Building on What Works

In 2026, we are building on the success of our core work supporting investor relations, capital campaigns, strategic planning, and funder engagement for regional and local organizations. Our role continues to center on helping conveners and intermediaries translate shared priorities into actionable plans, durable infrastructure, and strong partnerships across public, private, and philanthropic sectors.
We are especially proud of the relationships established during our first seven months. These partnerships reflect mutual trust, thoughtful pacing, and a shared commitment to outcomes that matter. That foundation allows us to move forward with confidence and purpose.
Expanding Services to Meet Community Needs
2026 also marks an important expansion of our services.
Curtis Concepts is now offering CDBG Planning Grant administration support, including application development, compliance guidance, and project coordination. This work builds directly on our experience navigating complex funding environments and supporting communities as they prepare for future investment.
Planning grants play a critical role in helping communities position sites, align stakeholders, and make informed decisions before capital is deployed. We are excited to bring a practical, partnership-oriented approach to this work and to support communities as they lay the groundwork for sustainable growth.
New Opportunities and Thoughtful Growth
Looking ahead, we are energized by new opportunities to collaborate with organizations that value clarity, alignment, and long-term impact. Whether supporting a capital campaign, strengthening investor engagement, or helping a community prepare for transformational funding, our focus remains the same: thoughtful strategy, disciplined execution, and trust-based collaboration.
We are also continuing to invest in tools, templates, and processes that make our work more effective and more accessible for the partners we serve.
Creating Balance Alongside Impact
As a growing firm, 2026 is also about balance.
Building a sustainable business means honoring both ambition and capacity. We are intentionally designing our work to allow space for family, reflection, and restoration, alongside meaningful professional contribution. That balance strengthens the quality of our thinking, our partnerships, and the outcomes we help deliver.
Moving Forward Together
We enter 2026 grateful for the trust of our partners and optimistic about what lies ahead. The challenges communities face are complex, but so are the opportunities. With the right structures, relationships, and shared commitment, real progress is possible.
We look forward to continuing this work together.
